This week has been crazy! I have felt like this week has just went right past me and I haven't had the chance to sit and blog. I am so excited to be able to finally sit down and actually blog!
This Tuesday, Colin and I will be married 9 months! It is really amazing how fast time can go by. All the different experiences ( I have mentioned them before) and ways that we have both grown. This Tuesday, is also the start of the new Ladies Bible study and I will be leading it. I am so excited and even a tad nervous. In more ways then one, I am just eager to see what God reveals in the hearts of myself and the ladies joining me on this journey to Discerning God's Voice. It is a study by Priscilla Shirer. With this study, as I was previewing it, I think that it will really speak to everyone in the different seasons. I know that this year has started out a little rough. You know what though, God has been preparing my heart and shaping through the difficult times this year has brought. In Isaiah 43 this chapter talks about how much God loves and protects us. No matter how big the wave is that comes up to wash over you and sweep you up, God is so much bigger and He promises that in the tough times He won't allow it to take you. You hear so many times that God doesn't give us more then we can handle, but at times I think He does in order that we may learn to cling to Him in the tough times and not relying on our own strength. We are not promised easy, breezy lives. We are promised that when the winds pick up we have an anchor to keep us in place.
Last Sunday, Colin went up before the church to announce officially his calling to preach. It means that things will be moving forward and he will be sharing the Word of God officially. This means also, a whole beginning. The next chapter of our lives and I wouldn't want to go through life with anybody else.
I am still doing some décor work on the new place, so I will eventually be doing some pictures... I smell a trip to HomeGoods!!!

Product Review! and more updates
So I hope you all have had a wonderful week so far! It is Friday, and I have my view on GlamGlow Youth Mud.
* GlamGlow Youth Mud:
What does it do? This mud mask full size is about $68 and I got a small sample size in the maze in Sephora for $15. It is suppose to deep clean your pores and exfoliate. It tingles and then it clings to your pores to the point you can see them.

Seeing your pores is kind of gross. I will be honest. As much raves I heard about this product, I ended up with some little bumps and broke out. I was disappointed! It may have been the active green tea leaf in the mask. I hated the tingly feeling. Because I did have a reaction to this product it went from the normal tingle to a burning sensation. So this product for me was a no. I have not tried any of the other GlamGlow products but before I do, I am going to have to read and compare ingredients.
So none of my topics are going to be on any particular day. I plan on doing more diy, makeup, hair and fashion. My spiritual thoughts, updates on my daily life. Even some recipes! Then I may toss in a totally different topic. I don't want this be a boring routine. There will be a second post today.

Change is a Good Thing
I know that typically on Thursdays I do product reviews. I will doing my product reviews on Fridays instead. On Thursdays I am going to be sharing with you what is in my heart. When I sit down with a cup of coffee and sit and type, sip my coffee, type... you get the picture. For the past couple of weeks I have felt like something has been just missing. Then in my quiet times with the Lord it hit me. I love fashion, and makeup, cooking... My blog is really going to be going up the next level for me. This is a personal challenge, and I am very excited about this. The Lord has been pushing my heart in this direction. Grooming me, preparing me, teaching me. Now I am ready to take this step. It means an intense blogging schedule for me, it means that a lot more planning will be involved in each blog post. This would be a personal challenge for me. A blog post everyday. Each day will be different. It is time for me to get out of my comfort zone, and really take my blog where I have dreamed of taking it. I will release what my plans are for each day tomorrow. Everything is still in the planning process, and my heart is bursting with joy! The look of my blog for right now is going to stay. After all I really just changed it! But I will be adding to my blog. including favorite blogs, websites. I already have a Good Morning Girls logo on the side here ( seriously, go check them out!!!!) Eventually I will be changing even the layout of my blog..... who knows I may just get that under way today. ;) Please pray for me as I am going through this huge change in my blogging life! I am excited to see where the Lord takes me on this journey, and I love having my reader friends join me on this journey!

Update!!
Sometimes, I get major writers block. I will sit here staring at the black keys of the keyboard. I will type something, erase, type again and erase. It can be frustrating for a blogger to end up with writers block. maybe it's just me??
This week, I have inspired by a healthier lifestyle. ( Sometimes those ideas go out the window in the name of Muddy Buddies....) It is even harder when you know you need to go grocery shopping because you are only have junk food in your cabinets.. I have been talking for the past week or so, about doing protein shakes, that hasn't happened yet. I pin it, I talk it, but have yet to do it. Well it would help if had a blender...
Not only have I been on a I want to eat healthy kick, but I have been trying to get in shape.. No matter what size you are, you can be out of shape. So working out has become a more regular slot in my routine.
I have been doing a Bible study by Kelly Minter on the book of Ruth. I have just started but my goodness, I am learning so much from that study. I highly recommend it! I also started glancing through the bible study I will be leading in April. Discerning The Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer. I am super excited to start this study. From what I have read of it, I think me and the ladies of Maple View are in for a treat!
On Sunday, I went from 22 to 23. Shopping was my birthday gift ( what girl wouldn't like that gift??) it was so nice spending the days with those that I love the most!
Colin and I have been planning vacation and we are super excited to have Dan and his lovely wife Jen come over from England to help celebrate Colin's birthday and ride some roller coasters with us! I love Colonial Williamsburg.
As you can see, I have been craving spring, and I have changed up the look of my blog! I have my spring theme up and I have a bunch of fun posts planned. As well as a surprise that will be shared with you tomorrow!
I hope you have a good day!

All About Hair: Product Thursday
It has been a few days since I have blogged. I have several posts in the works. It take a lot of time to type and post, especially when your life has been hectic. Since I have some down time today I am going to be putting out some posts, and may just schedule them to go out when I need to have posts up. I want to keep posting regularly.
As you can see from the title I am going talk about my hair. next to the color of my eyes, I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I love the compliments, simply because it is so nice to know that people are noticing the hard work I put into taking care of my hair. I don't use a ton of products, and I will briefly talk about my hair type.
I have a LOT of hair. It is not extremely thick, I have some natural volume as well. The main problem area is frizz.... It likes to frizz up. It also loves to be dyed. Weird I know, considering dying your hair is super bad. What I mean is that it takes the color I choose. So now that I described a little bit about my hair, I want to share with you some of my secrets.

Weird I know, considering dying your hair is super bad. What I mean is that it takes the color I choose. So now that I described a little bit about my hair, I want to share with you some of my secrets.
- Washing my hair: I do not wash my hair everyday. I wash it between every 2-3 days. This really sounds gross, but some shampoos, strip your hair natural oils, as well as water can be hard on you hair. Product buildup.. I also save money from having to buy shampoo and conditioner. On the day's that I don't wash my hair I use Dove's dry shampoo to lift up the roots.
- Shampoo and Conditioner: I LOVE Dove shampoo. I have tried many shampoos and conditioners. Yet I always come back to Dove. I use Dove with Argan Oil in it, that helps with any dry and frizzy hair.
- Drying my hair: I allow my hair to air dry, unless I have to leave the house in like 30 minuets. Then I will let it hair dry for a little bit while I dress, or apply a bit of makeup on then blow dry it. when I blow dry I have been using Nexus heat protecting spray.
- Hair products: I tend to not use any hair products. I may use a hair spray, again my favorite is Dove. I have other products that I may use for any hair styles I want to do, but for the most part I don't use them.
- Heating Tools: I again rarely use them. I use to straighten my hair all the time. But again it kills your hair. I love doing flat iron curls. However, I don't use heating tools as much anymore.
- Dying my hair: I do dye my hair. I do it myself, and not all the time.
- I cut my own hair: I taught myself how to cut my hair, and I save money. This isn't a real secret to gorgeous hair, but I may as well just say it.
